The wedi metal washers and dowels are suitable for the mechanical attachment of wedi building boards or other insulation panels.
Depending on the surface, the galvanised or stainless steel versions are to be applied. Stainless steel wedi washers and dowels to be used for ambient conditions with higher humidity or in contact with plaster-containing substances.
Dowels are available in lengths between 50 and 140milimetres
In wet areas the sealing of the fixings and their immediate perimeter is required with wedi either 610 adhesive sealant or the combination of wedi 520 cement based Waterproof Membrane and wedi Sealing tape.
Requirements: 5 pieces per m² with ceramic tiles; 8 pieces per m² with large format tiles or natural stone
